FSC3000™ products will be topic of educational offering
Hodgkins, IL — May 18, 2009 - OPW Fuel Management Systems, a business unit of OPW Fueling Components, has scheduled its next onsite product-training seminar for June 9-11 in the Parsippany/Newark, NJ, area at the Staybridge Suites, 61 Interpace Parkway, Parsippany, NJ, 07054.
The three-day seminar has been designed to help ensure that service personnel are more effective through hands-on training with the FSC3000™ Fuel Site Controller products, along with providing an overview on Networks. The seminars will begin at 9 a.m. EDT and will continue until 5 p.m. on each of the three days. The cost of the training course is $495 per person; application and payment must be received two to three weeks in advance of the seminar. All lodging and transportation are the responsibility of the attendee.
During the seminar, instructors will demonstrate system start-ups and general operation of the FSC3000™, which is OPW's powerful fuel-site controller that manages the operation of the fuel-island terminal and pump controllers. Attendees are asked to bring a laptop computer and voltage meter to the seminar. This is a required course to certify or re-certify for fuel-control product testing. OPW Fuel Management Systems will award certificates of achievement on systems that are covered during the seminar. In order to receive certification, attendees must pass a mandatory test on each system.
Virtual Training Seminar Set
OPW Fuel Management Systems has also posted the dates and times for its upcoming virtual product-training seminar for qualified distributors and technicians:
- June 23-24, 9-11 a.m. CDT, will focus on the SiteSentinel® iSite Automatic Tank Gauging System
These courses are designed to demonstrate the use of these systems and to prepare technicians to successfully complete virtual labs, product-certification testing and product installation. These are required courses to certify or re-certify for product testing.
There is a $100 charge for attending a Webex training course and payment must be received at least one week prior to the seminar date. A valid Visa, MasterCard or P.O. from the sponsoring distributor and sponsorship by an authorized OPW Fuel Management Systems distributor is required to participate in this Webex course. Seminar fees are non-refundable once the registration has been sent. If OPW FMS cancels the seminar, a refund will be sent to the technician or it can be used for a future Webex seminar.
All registrants must have high-speed Internet access and an active individual e-mail address. Participants must also download and read the SiteSentinel® iSite Product Training Guide prior to the class dates.
