Recipients of the award are children of Dover employees and who demonstrated scholarly excellence and taken on leadership roles within the community. Awardees may receive up to $10,000 in undergraduate scholarship support contingent upon maintaining academic program eligibility. Over the last five years, the Dover Sons and Daughters Scholarship Program has awarded more than 190 scholarships totaling nearly $1.2 million.
