Lebanon, OH – December 9, 2011 – OPW Fluid Transfer Group, A Dover Company (NYSE: DOV) and the global leader in providing expert solutions for the safe and efficient handling of hazardous liquids, announced today that it has named Ross Pliska Vice President of its Transportation Business Unit. Mr. Pliska will assume his new responsibilities effective January 1, 2012, and will report directly to OPWFTG president, Tim Warning.

Mr. Pliska will oversee the global Transportation Business Unit that markets Civacon, Knappco, Hiltap, OPW Engineered Systems and Midland brand products. Ross earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, AB Canada, and his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee.
Mr. Pliska joined Dover in 2003 as a Manufacturing / Applications Engineer for Alberta Oil Tool (AOT), in Edmonton. He was named Technical Services Manager in 2005 and promoted to Vice President of Sales and Engineering in 2007. In March of 2010, Ross was named Vice President of International Sales for Norris Production Solutions, A Dover Company and leading provider of oil and gas artificial lift solutions.
