FlexWorks Vent Piping

In response to customer feedback asking for an alternative to fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) vent piping, OPW has developed the FlexWorks Vent Pipe, which has been specifically designed for use in venting applications. This newest member of the FlexWorks family of fuel-transfer piping is a flexible double-wall vent-pipe solution that is UL and ULc-listed for use with both tank-venting and Stage II vapor-recovery piping, and with all fuel types and alcohol blends in underground storage tank (UST) systems.

Features & Benefits

Fully bonded coaxial thermoplastic construction on all layers
Primary inner pipe barrier constructed of Kynar® PVDF
Orange in color so it cannot mistakenly be used as product piping
Compatible with couplings used on primary piping systems:
- DPC swedge-on double-wall couplings
- SBC bolt-on double-wall couplings
Compatible with all fuel types:
- Motor-vehicle fuels
- High-blend fuels
- Concentrated fuels
- Aviation and marine fuels
Corrosion-resistant stainless-steel fittings that are ideal for direct-bury applications
No need for hand-built field-fabricated joints, which eliminates potential leak points
Enables continuous piping runs between tank and vent stacks
No cutting, fitting, cleaning or gluing required
No adhesives needed, which eliminates curing problems and electrofusion welding of joints
Easy to bend with no special fittings needed to make bends
Fast and easy installation with less labor, time and cost requirements
Optional Vent Pipe Kit that seals off interstitial testing port when burying double-wall fittings
Available in 2” diameter on either a 250' or 500' reel
Ready availability that eliminates long delivery lead times
